This neighborhood is named after P.T. Barnum of the Barnum & Bailey Circus. They purchased 760 acres in 1882 for their off-season winter reprise for the show and originally named many of the streets after famous people. Soon after, the neighborhood was annexed by the City of Denver.

There are many historic buildings that still stand, and many homes in the area are affordable for the first-time home buyer. The homes in the area range in size of 1000 to 2500 finished square feet. Some are as small as 1 bedroom homes, some are as large as 5 bedroom homes. The age of the homes range from turn of the century to current renovations. You have many choices for homes in this area.
